What is Kybella®?

The active ingredient in Kybella is called deoxycholic acid, which is a molecule that occurs naturally in the body that aids in dietary fat absorption and fat breakdown. Kybella is injected into the chin area and immediately starts diminishing your unwanted fat.

Best of all, once those fat cells are destroyed, they can no longer store or build up fat. Kybella should be administered in 2-4 treatments spaced no less than a month apart for best results.

    What to expect with Kybella®?

Before starting treatment, your healthcare specialist will examine the area under and around your chin to determine if KYBELLA® is right for you. Then, your specialist will tailor your treatment to the amount of fat under the chin and your aesthetic goals.

    How Kybella® works

The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

    Kybella Cost and Aftercare

Kybella treatment cost varies from case to case, depending on how many treatments are needed to garner desired results. During your initial consultation we’ll discuss all of your options and decide how to best move forward. Cost of treatments will be discussed at that time. Everything we do is completely transparent and discussed with the patient prior to Kybella treatment. After treatment, we’ll give you the focused postprocedural care that you need to enjoy lasting results.
